About Maramoja Enterprises
Founded in Arusha in 2013. Present in Dubai since 2022. Operating across five continents today.
Our Position
Most global advisory firms have no real East Africa presence. Most East African advisory firms have no real global reach. Maramoja Enterprises occupies the space between both — and our Dubai office is the physical proof of that ambition.
We have been structuring cross-border capital transactions since 2013 — connecting East African business opportunity with capital from the Gulf, Europe, Asia, and North America. Over that time, we have raised over $210 million in financing for clients across the region, closed transactions involving counterparties in more than 30 countries, and built banking and investor relationships that span five continents.
We are not a large firm that happens to cover Africa. We are a deeply specialised firm that has chosen to focus on one of the world's most compelling and underserved advisory markets — and to connect it to the global capital it deserves.
We have been structuring cross-border capital transactions since 2013 — connecting African business and government opportunity with capital from the Gulf, Europe, Asia, and North America.

Our History
Established as a financial advisory practice serving East African businesses seeking structured access to capital and cross-border transaction support.
Closed our first cross-border transaction — sourcing Gulf institutional capital for an East African infrastructure project and establishing our international banking relationships.
Extended advisory services across Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia, building East Africa's most connected cross-border advisory network.
Formalised our Development Finance Institution advisory practice, with dedicated expertise in IFC, BII, Proparco, and DEG financing.
Established our Business Bay office at The Citadel Tower — positioning Maramoja at the centre of the world's most active hub for Africa-focused capital.
Reached significant milestones in cross-border advisory — with transactions closed across East Africa, the Gulf, Europe, and Asia spanning corporate finance, trade instruments, and government mandates.
Appointed as official advisory partner to the Government of Zanzibar to structure and attract institutional investment into key infrastructure and development projects.
How We Work
We advise only on transactions we believe in, for clients we believe in. Our reputation is our most valuable asset — and we protect it in every engagement.
We hold both at once. Our international network and Dubai presence give us global reach. Our Tanzania headquarters and decade-long East African track record give us local credibility.
We are measured on what we close, not what we pitch. Every mandate we take on, we commit to delivering — and we only take on mandates we believe we can deliver.
Every client works with our senior team. We do not hand mandates to junior staff after the pitch. The same people who win your business are the people who deliver it.
